Discover the waves of the Gironde coast all year around with the Montalivet Kokoloco Surf Club, open since 1971. The Kokoloco Surf Club offers 2 unique club houses to its members which are found on the southern beach of Montalivet Les Bains.
During the summer months "La Kabin Beach" club house is open to all members and is the ideal meeting place from where to surf, longboard, tandem, standup and body board in water at 18°- 20°C. The aprés surf atmosphere at the club is relaxed, evenings ranging from a few words with the local groms on the days surf, to funky fancy dress parties with local dj's passing the discs; the perfect intergration into the surf culture of Monta.
The winters are spent surfing the cool (water drops to 14°C) Atlantic winter swells, the empty line ups and somedays perfect 6ft offshore. ...The panoramic view of the "Kokoloco" club house, situated above on the sea front, hot showers and a thriving young surf community make this the Montalivet club to join.
The Kokoloco Surf Club operates all year. Surf lessons and safety instruction for all. Wet suits, surfboards, bodyboards if they are needed and insurance for every member.
